GoldCleats Professional Community Guidelines

There are certain types of discussions and content that are acceptable on GoldCleats. We want to make sure that you are aware of them!

Several activities take place on GoldCleats every day, most of which involve communicating with one, two, or more people. We want to make sure that such communication adds value to the GoldCleats experience of our members and users. As such, GoldCleats has developed a guideline known as the Professional Community Guideline, which outlines what is and is not acceptable communication. The primary objective is to make you aware of the type of discussions and content that are acceptable to GoldCleats and what may be deemed inappropriate and stopped by GoldCleats. The guidelines also complement the list of "Do's" and "Don'ts" found in our User Agreement.

Be who you say you are! The objective of GoldCleats is to connect you with talented soccer players or with recruiters who are looking to recruit. Our members and users must be real people, who provide their real names and accurate information about who they are. Providing misleading information about yourself, your credentials, qualifications, experience, association and affiliation, and achievements will only harm your chances of getting recruited and further waste your time and the time of others. You will only get away with it in the short run!

Act appropriately and do not ruin the GoldCleats experience for others! Please behave professionally, and above all, please be honest and transparent. We acknowledge the need of communicating and connecting with others and this is why we created GoldCleats---so please do not disrespect or intimidate others. Please refrain from sharing images that are obscene, outrageous and inappropriate such as pornography or gruesome images.

Be cordial and treat others the same way you would like to be treated! We did not create GoldCleats for you to harass or harm others. Do not use GoldCleats to abuse or send other unwelcomed communications to people such as junk mail, spam, chain letters, or phishing schemes. Do not threaten other users with violence and please refrain from using GoldCleats to spread hate speech or to attack people based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, political or religious affiliations or medical or physical conditions. Do not use GoldCleats to intentionally spread viruses, worms, or other software that can destroy or interrupt other users, data or computer devices. It is not okay to interfere or disrupt GoldCleats' services.

Respect the rights of others and follow the law! We do not want GoldCleats to be used for illegal activities or to violate the rights of others. It is not ok to use GoldCleats to commit fraud. Make sure you have the legal right before you share or use someone else's copyrighted works, trademarks, private information, or trade secrets.

Respect the rights of GoldCleats! Please do not violate the rights of GoldCleats. You can find more information about what this means in our user agreement, but put simply, please do not use GoldCleats to wrongfully take data or information. It is not okay to suggest that you are affiliated with or endorsed by GoldCleats when you are not, and it is not okay to violate GoldCleats intellectual property rights.
